What will you win?

At the end of this journey, you will have grown as an international moderator and will have shown yourself to the world. The combination of professional training and on-stage experience will drive your career to the next level.

You will get to show your skills to the world. And to some, the door might even open to becoming member of the Masters in Moderation team.

Planning

The workshop will be on May 21^st (so: travel on the 20th). At the end, the best 3 candidates will be invited to moderate at the REVOLUTION Festival. The selected moderators will prepare on the 22^nd and moderate on the 23^rd and/or 24^th.
Those who are not selected for moderation will of course be very welcome to attend the event and learn by observing.

Procedure

Your application should be sent before January 26^th 2024. It should at least include:

• Your resumé (Word doc.), including:
  • Education
  • Moderator experience
  • Every experience that you feel contributes to you as a moderator.
• A video (1-2 minutes, in English) of yourself, including:
  • A scripted introduction, saying: “Welcome everybody, to the 2024 edition of REVOLUTION. This is the event that aims to take the international meetings & events industry to the next level. We do so by showing you the best of the best, by experimenting to learn and by giving rookies – like myself – a chance to build experience. I am … (state your name) and I will be your moderator.
    (Note: make it sound enthusiastic, like you are on stage at Revolution)
  • You telling us why you think that you are a talented EmCee.
  • What you think the ‘soul of great moderation’ is.
• If available: pictures of you on stage.

Rules

In addition to the application, there’s a few rules:

• Your English is good (although not native).
• You have a maximum of 5 years of moderator-experience in your own country, and (almost) no international experience.
• You are able and willing to pay for your own travel and stay.
• You are available to be in Lithuania from 21-24 May 2024.

It is important to create a dialogue, to gather relevant panel discussions, to review the best event ideas and to reward the best event organisers with the best event hosts.

So I look forward to welcoming talented event hosts from all over the world to Vilnius - to introduce themselves, to gain valuable cross-country experience and to showcase the main heroes and events of the REVOLUTION Ideas & Trends Festival. You are more than welcome to us help connect with your audience and shape the spread of the REVOLUTION message.
