2 day international event for global key account customers and suppliers.
The goal was to meet with customers face to face again after Covid and to show FujiFilm’s commitment to the future of this sector. Also FujiFilm wanted to inform participants about new technological innovations, all with a special focus on sustainability.
The role of our moderator Adam Fields was to be the face of the event during the plenary session, but also in coffee breaks and during the dinner. Adam had to deal with a number of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds from across Europe, USA, Japan, Middle East (with some language barriers), but still made sure that everyone felt included and stayed engaged.
Being well-briefed and well-prepared, people kept thinking Adam was from the industry, even though he specifically mentioned a few times that he was not.
Included in the moderation were: introducing speakers, leading Q&A’s, eliciting questions from the audience, asking the burning questions when the audience were not forthcoming, leading the panel discussion, time keeping, shuffling people back into the plenary room after breaks, creating an informal and dynamic atmosphere, stimulating networking, hitting the right tone of the event, cracking a joke occasionally and above all leaving everyone feeling positive and energized after 2 days.
