With any innovation in the meeting industry, ICCA (international Congress and Convention Association) is an early adopter. Onsite, 84 people from 37 countries joined the hybrid panel. Online, no less then 604 members from 75 countries tuned in! About 50% of them actively participated in the online chat and on twitter.

In edition 2, the active engagement was even bigger. And participants were stimulated to watch the hybrid show together. These kind of 'satellite events' enhence the long-term effect of the hybrid event.
